Big Walk sells 1 million copies in under one week

According to publisher Panic, Big Walk reached 1 million copies sold in less than a week. The milestone is particularly notable given that the game is available as a free monthly title on PlayStation Plus, meaning many players on Sony's platform did not need to purchase a copy.

The cooperative puzzle game developed by House House, the studio behind Untitled Goose Game, launched simultaneously on PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch 2. By comparison, Untitled Goose Game took three months to reach 1 million copies sold.

Among 2026's indie breakouts, Big Walk ranks below Meccha Chameleon, which sold 1 million copies in just four days (and had already totaled 20 million in two months), but still represents a significant commercial milestone for a co-op puzzle-focused title. Other 2026 releases like Mewgenics reached the mark in eight days, while Mina the Hollower sold 500,000 copies in eleven days.
