2K Sports held a 45-minute livestream event at the Inuit Dome in Los Angeles on August 18 to showcase NBA 2K27's latest updates and gameplay enhancements. According to the PlayStation Blog, the showcase covered new features for The City, cooperative mode, and MyNBA Eras, among other additions.
The game releases September 4, but players who purchase the Deluxe or Ultra Edition will gain early access starting August 26, giving them up to 9 days ahead of the standard launch. Per Xbox Wire, these premium editions unlock new content across MyCAREER, MyTEAM, and additional game areas.
