SanDisk has announced three new expansion cards for Xbox Series X|S in 512GB, 1TB and 2TB capacities. According to VGC, the 2TB model costs $340, with potential price variation depending on SanDisk's website.
The company becomes the third manufacturer to release expansion cards for the current Xbox consoles. Seagate was first when the cards launched in 2020, followed by WD Black in 2024.
Expansion cards allow players to increase the internal storage of Xbox Series X|S, which comes with 1TB as standard. Since this proprietary storage solution launched six years ago, new manufacturers have continued entering the market with alternatives to the original product.
