Dotemu and Tribute Games have unveiled the first premium DLC expansion for Marvel Cosmic Invasion. According to Adrenaline, The Siege of Castle Doom will launch between September and December 2026 on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and Nintendo Switch 2.
Doctor Doom takes center stage in the expansion, headlining an entirely new game mode. The DLC also introduces two new playable characters whose identities remain unrevealed. As reported by Nintendo Life, the expansion capitalizes on the momentum of the Avengers: Doomsday film, set to release in October 2026.
The announcement arrives as Marvel Cosmic Invasion continues building momentum: the game has surpassed 1.5 million players and earned a D.I.C.E. Awards nomination, according to Adrenaline and Destructoid.
