Final Fantasy VII Revelation, the third and final chapter of the PS1 classic's remake trilogy, will receive a new trailer at Gamescom ONL, Square Enix announced across the game's official social channels. Director Naoki Hamaguchi will take the stage at the event to discuss the new footage being shown.
The publisher promised "a fresh look at the game" for the presentation, positioning Revelation as a major highlight of this year's Gamescom lineup. The announcement comes as Final Fantasy VII Rebirth continues to perform solidly following its June launch on Switch 2 and Xbox Series X/S, contributing to a reported 88.6% jump in Square Enix's operating income for the quarter ending June 30.
Revélation remains on track for release across PC, Switch, and Xbox as the remake trilogy continues its rollout that began with Final Fantasy VII Remake in 2020.
