It's official: D.Mon enters the fight in Overwatch Season 4 Heroes of Busan, now live across all platforms. According to Xbox Wire, the new tank hero, known in-game as Yuna Lee and leader of the MEKA Squad, brings an up-close defensive playstyle to the roster.
Armed with a hitscan weapon, a plasma saber, and a power barrier reminiscent of Reinhardt's shield, D.Mon joins D.Va to defend Busan from attacks by Talon and the Junkers, furthering the narrative of the season-long "Reign of Talon" arc, as covered by Destructoid. Her playstyle emphasizes protecting teammates while cutting through enemies at close range.
The season overhaul includes a revamped battle pass system and new Mythic skins for Genji and Sojourn, plus a D.Mon skin in the premium battle pass track, per Destructoid. Patch notes contain hero balance adjustments, including a controversial change to Lifeweaver's Life Grip ability, reported by Polygon.
LE SSERAFIM, the K-pop girl group, returns for their third collaboration with Overwatch this season, with their logo appearing in Busan map teasers and signaling incoming cosmetic items for the shop.
