The Blood and Brine expansion for Tails of Iron 2: Whiskers of Winter is now available for free on Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One, according to Xbox Wire. The content sends protagonist Arlo from the frozen north to the coastal region of Hardshell Brook, a new aquatic biome.
The update includes 11 full quests, 10 new bosses and 32 collectible aquatic creatures. Standout features are nine armor sets inspired by other studios' titles: Blasphemous, Cult of the Lamb, Dave the Diver, Death's Door, Moonlighter and Beyond Galaxyland.
Tails of Iron 2: Whiskers of Winter launched in 2024 as the sequel to the 2021 action-adventure game. This is the first post-launch expansion for the title, adding content after the main campaign ends.
