Arc System Works has released the first patch for Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls on PC. According to the developer's official Discord server, the update aims to bring the PC version's performance in line with the PS5 experience.
Since launching a week prior, the PC version had suffered serious stability problems. As reported by Eurogamer, the game experienced significant frame rate drops and stuttering during matches, particularly in online modes. Most hardware configurations struggled to maintain a consistent 60 FPS, creating a clear gap between PC and PlayStation 5 players.
The update reduces CPU usage and fixed a bug causing sudden performance drops, according to Shacknews. The patch arrives following widespread reports during launch week, including fighting game content creators uninstalling the title live on stream, as highlighted by IGN Brasil.
Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls is a team-based fighting game supporting up to 4v4 matches, developed by Arc System Works in partnership with Marvel. The title launched on August 6 for PS5 and PC.
