Rockstar Games has released the official launch trailer for GTA 6, confirming the game's arrival on November 19 for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. The 90-second trailer prominently features protagonists Jason and Lucia in action sequences and intimate scenes, with their relationship serving as a central narrative element, including a shower scene between the two characters.
According to IGN, the trailer explores Jason's troubled past, specifically his departure from the military on difficult terms, while Lucia appears wearing a monitoring ankle tag. GameSpot notes that the footage showcases Vice City extensively, displaying the open world's locations, inhabitants, and criminal activities.
The featured soundtrack is "Flower in a Hurricane," an original score track by Justice alongside Tame Impala, SZA, and King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard. Justice composed the complete original score for GTA 6. As reported by GamesRadar, the trailer was captured on PS5, with the "plays best on PS5" designation displayed at the start, highlighting Rockstar's partnership with Sony.
The release marks the franchise's return over a decade after GTA 5. This trailer is the fourth official video material released and the first since the Extended Look that debuted on Netflix in August.
