Super Mario Sunshine, originally released for GameCube in 2002, is now available on Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack as part of the service's Nintendo Classics catalog, Nintendo Life reports.
The title represents Mario's return to 3D platforming six years after the launch of Super Mario 64 (1996). At the time, Nintendo took a creative risk by introducing FLUDD, a water-spraying device that Mario uses throughout his adventure on Isle Delfino.
Alongside the game's arrival, Nintendo has also released the complete Super Mario Sunshine soundtrack on the Nintendo Music app. The soundtrack, composed by Koji Kondo and Shinobu Tanaka, features 58 tracks with a total runtime of 1 hour and 34 minutes.
The addition expands the Switch Online GameCube library, giving subscribers access to more classics from that console generation.
