Kinetic Publishing, the new label from the creators of Phasmophobia, officially unveiled its first five games at a dedicated showcase. According to the PlayStation Blog and Xbox Wire, the titles will launch in 2027 and 2028 across multiple platforms.
The publishing label was established in January 2025 by Kinetic Games, the studio behind Phasmophobia's success, which has sold over 27 million copies. Kinetic Publishing aims to provide independent developers with the level of support that founder Daniel Knight wished he had when creating his first game.
The slate includes Contact Protocol, a sci-fi horror title, alongside games ranging from cosy magical farming adventures to other genres. According to the sources, all five games were curated as titles the publishing team themselves want to play.
The announcements mark the first showcase dedicated exclusively to Kinetic Publishing, establishing the company's new strategy to expand beyond internal development.
