GTA 6 gameplay leaks as group Cyberleek makes demands of Rockstar

Several videos of what appears to be legitimate Grand Theft Auto 6 gameplay have been posted online by a group identifying itself as Cyberleek. According to Push Square and Eurogamer, the clips show protagonist Jason engaged in activities including playing basketball, driving, and committing crimes that attract police attention, as well as robbery and combat sequences.

The videos' authenticity was reinforced when Take-Two Interactive, Rockstar Games' parent company, issued multiple DMCA takedown notices against the material, as reported by PC Gamer and GameSpot. The group also shared an image claiming to show Vice City's complete map, the game's setting.

In a manifesto released by Cyberleek, according to Destructoid and PC Gamer, the group justified its actions as protest against what it considers anti-consumer practices, including excessive DLC monetization, games-as-a-service models, and the shift from physical media to digital licenses. The group promised to release additional footage.

The leak prompted immediate backlash from Stop Killing Games, a consumer rights movement. According to PC Gamer and Rock Paper Shotgun, the organization publicly distanced itself from the breach, stating that "using illegal means to make a point is unacceptable to us," though it acknowledged the leaks appear genuine given the speed of takedown actions.

GTA 6 is scheduled for November 2026 release and will have a Netflix special on August 27. Rockstar Games has not officially commented on the leaks.
