Alan Wake 2 has reached 3 million copies sold, according to Remedy Entertainment's latest financial report. The milestone marks a turnaround for the game, which fell short of expectations at launch in October 2023.
The announcement came from Remedy CEO Jean-Charles Guadechon as the studio navigates financial headwinds. Between April and June 2026, the company reported revenues 40% lower than the same period last year, totaling €10.2 million, per the financial filing.
Despite the revenue decline, Remedy holds €7.6 million in cash thanks to recent payments received. The studio is now banking on Control Resonant as a strategic release to offset the challenging period. Guadechon also noted that the original Control has begun seeing sales growth again.
