CD Projekt Red has announced update 2.5 for Cyberpunk 2077, arriving October 22 for PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S. According to GameSpot, the update includes "new items and features" inspired by the second season of Cyberpunk: Edgerunners, the anime series premiering the same day on Netflix.
New additions include cyberware customization and a fresh dual-wielding playstyle. CD Projekt Red scheduled a livestream on October 21 (8 AM PT / 11 AM ET) to preview the update's contents. As noted by GamesRadar, this mirrors the strategy from the first Edgerunners season, which also received a free update with new weapons, gear, and gigs.
