Colorbound launches on Xbox Series X|S

Colorbound, a new puzzle-platformer from developer Panpipe Studio, is now available on Xbox Series X|S. The game follows Anku, a boy living in the mountains of Chile with his grandmother, and uses color and music to tell a story of love, loss, and family following the death of his grandfather Eloy.

Color serves as the core progression mechanic throughout the game. The concept originated from a Latin American Games Showcase Game Jam in 2025, inspired by the theme "What the eyes don't see, the heart doesn't feel." Developers transformed this idea into a pastel-toned platforming adventure where color extends beyond visual design to become integral to both gameplay and narrative.

According to Xbox Wire, the soundtrack and visual design work together to amplify the emotional weight of the story. The game is now available on the Xbox store.
