Konami has released 18 minutes of gameplay footage for Silent Hill: Townfall, the upcoming first-person survival horror title for PS5. According to Push Square, the video showcases the game's opening sequence and protagonist Simon Ordell's first steps into the fog-covered Scottish town of St. Amelia, featuring exploration, puzzle-solving, and the player's initial monster encounter.
The footage highlights the CRTV, a portable television device that serves as a key mechanic for detecting hazards and navigating the town's streets. The preview also demonstrates combat encounters and concludes with a glimpse of the Otherworld, the series' signature transformation sequence. The soundtrack, composed by Pilotpriest, received attention for its atmospheric contribution to the presentation.
