GTA V and Red Dead Redemption 2 leaving PS Plus on November 17

GTA V and Red Dead Redemption 2 will be removed from the PS Plus game library on November 17, as revealed by Sony. The date comes just two days before GTA 6's scheduled release on November 19.

Along with the two Rockstar titles, eight other games will also leave the service in the same period: Football Manager 26, The Talos Principle 2, Cricket 24, Monster Boy and the Cursed Kingdom, Rock of Ages 3: Make & Break, Earth Defense Force 4.1: The Shadow of New Despair, Rapala Pro Series, and Yet Another Zombie Defense HD.

The timing aligns with Rockstar and Take-Two Interactive's strategy to remove potential distractions and direct player attention toward the new release. Both games have already cycled in and out of the PS Plus catalog previously.
