Wardogs getting custom loadouts, CEO confirms

Bulkhead has confirmed that Wardogs will receive custom loadouts, answering one of the community's most requested features. According to the developer's CEO, Joe Brammer, the feature is coming, but its release was strategically delayed.

The decision to withhold loadouts until now was intentional. Internally, the team never had access to loadouts to force experimentation with different kits during internal testing. Brammer explained that without this limitation, players would have gravitated toward favorite configurations and tested little of the game's broader content.

"If we had loadouts, everyone would have gravitated to their favorite setup and only ever tested with that. Withholding them forced the team to play with everything, which meant far more of the game got properly tested. The same thinking applies to players right now," Brammer said in a Reddit response.

The CEO emphasized that the feature will be added once Bulkhead feels the necessary depth of the game has been explored in public testing. The approach reflects a deliberate balance between community feedback and the developer's design goals.
