Devora Wilde, best known for voicing Lae'zel in Baldur's Gate 3, was featured in Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 without realizing it. The actor only learned about her involvement when fans left comments after the game's release.
In an interview with IGN, Wilde recalled receiving messages saying "You're in Space Marine 2!" and initially dismissing them: "No, I'm not. What is that?" She only became convinced after players sent her clips featuring her performance.
This situation reflects common practice in the industry. Wilde had to sift through emails and documents to match the game's codename with its actual identity and confirm her participation. In Space Marine 2, her voice appears in audio logs and voice memos scattered throughout the game.
Beyond Baldur's Gate 3 and Space Marine 2, Wilde has appeared in titles including Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, Crimson Desert, and Split Fiction. Studios typically keep game details confidential during production, withholding titles and other information from actors until public release.
