Gibson Guitars and The Coalition announced an exclusive collaboration featuring two custom guitars for Gears of War: E-Day. The instruments use iconic Les Paul and SG designs, honoring franchise heroes Marcus Fenix and Dominic Santiago through original artwork by illustrator Luke Preece.
The partnership reinforces Gears of War's musical identity, defined over two decades by guitar-driven scores. Adam Lastiwka, composer for E-Day, used Gibson guitars when recording the game's soundtrack, establishing a natural connection between the legendary instrument brand and the franchise's narrative.
According to Xbox Wire, the collection reflects shared values between both brands: craftsmanship, authenticity, and storytelling. The guitars are created exclusively for E-Day and arrive as the game's launch approaches.
