The Silent Hill remake, based on the 1999 PS1 classic, is targeting a 2027 PS5 release, according to a report from MP1st cited by outlets including IGN and Push Square. Bloober Team, the Polish developer behind the Silent Hill 2 remake, has been working on the project since 2022, the leaked information suggests.
The project operates under the codename "Project Noise." According to the leak, two actresses are cast in major roles: Gabrielle Fritz and Jade Matthew. The identity of the actor playing Harry Mason, the original game's protagonist, remains undisclosed.
The timing fits Konami's aggressive expansion of the franchise. Following the success of Silent Hill 2 Remake (6 million copies sold) and releases like Silent Hill f and Silent Hill: Townfall over the past few years, the publisher confirmed in 2025 its plan to release a Silent Hill game annually. However, the studio notes the project is subject to change.
