GTA 6 made a surprise appearance in the most recent episode of South Park, which aired on Wednesday. According to IGN, the near-20-second exclusive gameplay clip shows a scene where protagonist Jason attacks an NPC with dog poop collected from a beach.
In the footage, a dog defecates on the sand, a pedestrian picks up the feces, and Jason then throws the poop at the NPC, who reacts in horror. The scene played out during a moment when the show's characters visit a ranch and a woman describes the game's graphical capabilities, including this environmental interaction mechanic.
According to GamesRadar, the material was confirmed as authentic through special thanks to Rockstar Games listed in the episode's credits. Rockstar's marketing strategy for GTA 6 has already included a partnership with PlayStation 5 and engagement with real-world locations; this collaboration with South Park represents a creative and unexpected promotional approach.
GTA 6 launches on November 19, 2026 for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, with a later release on PC.
