Rockstar Games released The Kortz Center Heist, a new major robbery for GTA Online and the game's first significant heist in 6 years. According to Xbox Wire, players infiltrate the Kortz Center, a cultural venue housing one of Los Santos' most valuable art collections, and must breach the Bell building to extract the artwork.
The heist requires planning and stealth to bypass state-of-the-art security, including professional security teams, surveillance cameras, and laser tripwires. The update is now live and offers multiple approaches to complete the objective, giving players flexibility in how they execute the robbery. Successful completion can yield up to 2 million in-game dollars.
Beyond the main heist, the update adds new vehicles, mansion upgrades for players, and significant adjustments to rewards from existing heists. The Mission Creator tool also received extensive updates with new features and options.
According to GamesRadar, the patch drew complaints from the community because payouts for nearly every other robbery were reduced, making money-grinding less rewarding. Players viewed the move unfavorably in the lead-up to GTA 6's release on November 19, 2026.
