Rebel Wolves shared 8 minutes of exclusive gameplay footage with IGN for The Blood of Dawnwalker, its RPG arriving in 2026. In the video, the mission titled 'Deep Down' shows protagonist Coen before his curse, exploring an underground ruin searching for a missing local named Lazar.
The quest structure follows a familiar pattern for The Witcher 3 fans: a seemingly straightforward task that reveals deeper layers as you progress. While exploring, Coen discovers an ancient mural that uncovers stories of past heroes and clues about hidden treasure, adding narrative depth typical of the Polish studio's quest design.
The Blood of Dawnwalker is being developed by former CD Projekt Red members, including The Witcher 3's director. The game places Coen under a curse forcing him to live as human by day and vampire by night, aiming to save his family from a court of malevolent vampires. According to details shared with Shacknews, the RPG takes between 50 and 70 hours to complete based on internal playthroughs.
