It's official: We Were Here Tomorrow launches on Xbox Series X|S this October, according to Xbox Wire. The first-person co-op game, which places two players in asymmetric roles to solve challenges together, received a new trailer showing some of the mysterious locations and puzzles awaiting players.
In the game, co-op partners explore strange places, communicate across time-based mechanics, and overcome mind-bending challenges that require coordination and problem-solving. The gameplay combines exploration with asymmetric puzzles where each player sees different parts of the environment.
The title follows the formula of its predecessors in the We Were Here series, which has built a dedicated audience for co-op-focused puzzle gameplay. This will be the third game in the franchise.
