Ubisoft has released a comprehensive overview trailer for Rayman Legends Retold, detailing the changes to the 2013 original. According to Flow Games, the roughly 6-minute video presents the remake's major additions, narrated by voice actor Elana Dunkelman and showing how the studio blends familiar elements with new content and mechanics.
Key additions include Land of the Livid Dead, a completely new sixth kingdom that unlocks progressively throughout the adventure. The trailer also highlights new dragon rides where players battle enemies while rescuing Teensies, and the Cave of Trials, designed to provide extra challenges. The music levels, a standout feature of the original game, return alongside four brand-new tracks.
According to Adrenaline, which played an early build, the narrative has been expanded with new animated sequences and dialogue, featuring Portuguese voice acting. The studio aims to deliver more than a simple remake, enhancing the 2013 title's experience.
Rayman Legends Retold launches on Nintendo Switch 2 on December 3, 2026.
