Hope in the City launches November 11 on Xbox and PC

Hope in the City, a narrative mystery adventure, will launch November 11, 2026 on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox on PC, and Steam, according to Xbox Wire. The game will be available on Game Pass from day one.

The title puts players in the role of Hope Song, a 17-year-old aspiring artist living in Shenyang, Northeast China. As she prepares to leave for art school abroad, she returns home to find her apartment ransacked. The game invites her to investigate her parents' disappearance using unconventional tools: her artist's eye, a sketchbook, and creative imagination.

The core mechanic centers on a unique investigation system built around Hope's ability to draw. The studio developed over 100 hand-drawn illustrations to bring the sketchbook to life within the game, turning art into a method of solving mystery rather than traditional detective tools and equipment.
