Crimson Desert adds 133 trading posts and overhauls economy

Crimson Desert has received a substantial update that reshapes the game's economic systems. According to PC Gamer, the patch introduces 133 new trading posts and implements mechanics that simulate supply and demand: when too many items are sold at a single location, prices drop; remote and hard-to-reach routes offer higher profits.

Trade posts now stock a broader range of goods. As GamesRadar reported, royal posts have quadrupled their selling prices compared to previous amounts, and wagons no longer disappear after delivering goods to a royal post. The system has rebalanced the types and quantities available across all trading locations.

This is the latest in Pearl Abyss's weekly patch cadence, according to Rock Paper Shotgun. The studio, known for Black Desert Online, has maintained a steady release schedule of content updates since Crimson Desert's launch.
