Bulkhead has moved forward the start date of Wardogs Season 3 in response to problems that plagued the game's second season. According to PCGamesN, Season 2 proved "messier than developer Bulkhead would have liked," with the team acknowledging they made "a huge mistake" in prioritizing fresh content over focusing on the core fundamentals of the multiplayer experience.
The primary issue centered on accelerated progression speeds that destabilized the game's economy. Though Bulkhead implemented an economy wipe to reset the system, rapid leveling speeds quickly undermined that effort and frustrated players, as Shacknews reports.
By accelerating Season 3's launch, the studio aims to rebuild player confidence and apply lessons learned from Season 2's stumble. The earlier start date signals the developer's urgency in correcting course for the tactical multiplayer title.
