Helldivers 2 is celebrating. According to the PlayStation Blog, Arrowhead Studios announced the arrival of Liberty Day 2026, the game's in-universe celebration now in its third year. The event brings a range of in-game gifts for active Helldivers and themed decorations for the ship lobby.
Liberty Day is part of Helldivers 2's narrative, serving as a commemorative date within the game's universe tied to the tenets of Managed Democracy, a central element of the fiction that contextualizes players' missions against extraterrestrial threats.
The studio confirmed the celebration follows the pattern of previous editions, with distribution of exclusive cosmetic and visual items to mark the occasion. Specific details about which gifts will be distributed were not disclosed in the announcement.
