According to the PlayStation Blog, Gran Turismo 7 is rolling out update 1.70 today with a focus on endurance racing. The headline addition is a roster of cutting-edge hypercars that have dominated or competed on real tracks: the Ferrari 499P (which returned victory to the Prancing Horse at Le Mans), the Porsche 963 (championship winner), BMW's hybrid V8 powerhouse, and Peugeot's 9X8, along with a Porsche 911 Turbo S Safety Car.
The update also adds a fresh Menu, five new World Circuits events, and the iconic Les 24 Heures du Mans circuit — motorsport's most storied endurance race. The download launches today at 11:00pm PDT / June 11 at 7:00am BST / 3:00pm JST at no additional cost.
Polyphony Digital is also rolling out an interactive quiz that matches each player with their ideal hypercar based on driving style, letting you track your answers and find which vehicle suits your personality best.
