Dune: Awakening is now available on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox on PC and via Xbox Game Pass, according to Xbox Wire. The launch brings a major update that includes single-player mode, allowing players to experience the game without multiplayer connectivity.
The game is an open-world survival title set on Arrakis, the desert planet central to the Dune universe. Players explore deserts, gather resources, craft equipment, build bases and develop their characters while following the narrative to uncover the mystery of the missing Fremen.
According to Xbox Wire, Dune: Awakening has been available on PC for some time, and this console launch is not simply a direct port. Over the past year, the studio has worked to make the game more accessible and customizable for a broader audience, with multiple updates implemented since its initial PC release.
