Fountains launches on Xbox after five years of solo development

Fountains, an action Metroidvania inspired by Dark Souls and Hollow Knight, is now available on Xbox, according to Xbox Wire. The game is the result of five years of solo development by creator John Pywell.

The title represents an extended independent development project. Pywell handled game design, content creation, and technical execution throughout the five-year period, with direct influences from the mentioned classics shaping the experience.
