Pearl Abyss has released a patch for Crimson Desert that resolves one of the game's most persistent annoyances. According to GamesRadar, the bug affected how food items were automatically prioritized in players' inventories.
The problem occurred when the game would automatically assign low-quality items to the quick slot after the previous food was consumed. If a player used a soup that boosted health, it would be replaced by impractical vegetables instead of the next nourishing meal they were carrying, forcing manual reorganization of equipped items.
Pearl Abyss's patch notes confirm the fix: "Fixed an issue where an unintended item was assigned to the quick slot after all of the assigned food had been consumed." The change ends weeks of complaints from players frustrated by the inconvenience.
