Halo: Campaign Evolved is now officially available on PC, Xbox, and PlayStation 5. According to Eurogamer, the versions are nearly identical in their feature sets, with one notable exception: the PC version does not support split-screen co-op, leaving traditional online co-op as the only way to play with a friend.
The game arrived on NVIDIA's GeForce Now catalog this week, as reported by Adrenaline, and can be played via Steam, Xbox, or Game Pass. The remake features 42 skulls scattered across the game's 13 campaign levels, plus three additional ones for Campaign Remix mode, presenting a significant challenge for collectors.
The modding community has already begun working on solutions shortly after launch. According to Rock Paper Shotgun, mods are circulating that attempt to enable split-screen co-op that remained dormant in the PC build files, showing player interest in restoring the series' classic functionality.
