Assassin's Creed Valhalla gets New Game+ mode six years after launch

Assassin's Creed Valhalla, launched in November 2020, will receive its New Game+ mode on November 5, 2026, according to Ubisoft's official announcement. The addition comes more than three years after the game received its "final" update in February 2023.

New Game+ was the most requested feature by the Valhalla community. With this addition, players will be able to replay the Viking adventure while retaining their progression and upgrades, offering a form of replayability for those who have already completed the game.

The announcement is part of a broader update from Ubisoft on the Assassin's Creed franchise. The publisher confirmed that Valhalla has surpassed 40 million players. At the same time, it stated that no other remakes are currently in active development, despite the success of Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced, which has sold 3 million copies.

Ubisoft also updated the status of upcoming projects in the series, including Assassin's Creed Codename Hexe and Codename Invictus, and mentioned the live-action series in development at Netflix.
