Splatoon Raiders, the Switch 2 exclusive, saw a sharp decline in sales during its second week on Japan's physical game charts. According to Famitsu, the title dropped from 474,684 units sold at launch to 73,542 units, a decrease of roughly 84%.
Despite the significant decline, the game maintains the top position in Japan's sales charts. Rhythm Heaven Groove holds second place with 59,884 units, while Tomodachi Life: Living the Dream continues to chart with 18,306 units sold during the week, adding to its worldwide total of over 8 million units.
The steep second-week drop is typical for titles with strong launch numbers, reflecting concentrated sales around release day. Splatoon Raiders retaining the number one spot indicates solid market reception, and industry analysts expect the game could surpass 1 million units in Japan in the coming weeks and months.
