Insomniac Games released a new trailer for Marvel's Wolverine this Thursday, exclusive to PlayStation 5. According to Polygon, the footage, titled "Ain't No Hero", confirms Lady Deathstrike as a villain and reveals that Sabretooth will act as an ally to Logan throughout his journey.
The cinematic-style trailer showcases Wolverine in intense combat, alternating between offense and defense, with his regenerative healing keeping him in the fight. The material reinforces the premise of a character shaped by centuries of conflict and turbulent memories, suggesting that confrontations with past enemies will be central to the story.
The sequence also implies that the relationship between Wolverine and Jean Grey will be a cornerstone of the narrative, as shown by scenes of the protagonist pursuing a photograph of the two together. Previously confirmed characters Jean Grey and Mystique are also part of the game's cast.
Marvel's Wolverine is scheduled to launch in 2026 on PlayStation 5, with support for physical disc versions, according to a recent Insomniac Games announcement.
