Palworld reaches version 1.0 this Friday, July 10, after more than two years in early access, and Pocketpair decided to keep the price at $29.99. According to the developer, it's a way to thank the community that brought the game to 40 million players. Most early access games raise their price upon official release, but Pocketpair chose to acknowledge the unexpected success by maintaining the original price point.
Before the launch, the developer posted an important warning: players who installed mods should uninstall them completely before updating. Version 1.0 brings significant changes to the game's systems, and legacy mod data can cause issues. According to Pocketpair's statement, "disabling them is not enough" and full removal is necessary.
The 1.0 update comes after more than two years of development in early access, accompanied by multiple updates that expanded content in the survival and exploration game.
