Sony has removed any mention of games coming to PC from its annual business and strategy report for PlayStation, according to reports from outlets including Eurogamer, PC Gamer, and Rock Paper Shotgun. The document was updated to detail plans for artificial intelligence use but eliminated discussions of the PC platform that typically appeared in such publications.
The change reflects Sony's decision to concentrate major single-player exclusive releases on its console platform. In March, a report emerged indicating that titles like Ghost of Yotei would not be releasing on PC, marking a shift from Sony's previous strategy of making games available across multiple platforms after a console exclusivity window.
Sony has not officially confirmed an end to PC releases, but the removal of the term from the strategic report reinforces signals of the directional change. Focus now falls on investments in AI within the PlayStation division, one of the priorities highlighted in the document.
