Marvel Cosmic Invasion gets roguelike DLC with Invisible Woman and Doctor Doom

Dotemu and Tribute Games revealed details about the second expansion for Marvel Cosmic Invasion. Titled Siege of Castle Doom, the DLC launches November 10, 2026 for PS5, PS4, and Switch, according to the PlayStation Blog.

The pack introduces a new roguelike mode called Castle Doom, where players must navigate Doctor Doom's Latverian fortress and defeat the villain before he activates his Cosmic Inductor. The mode was designed to deliver "replayability" by blending classic beat-em-up combat with evolving challenges that shift across each run.

The expansion also adds two new playable characters: the Invisible Woman and Doctor Doom. The team's design approach considered how the antagonist would respond to the alien invasion, using his castle as the ideal setting for the roguelike experience.

According to Push Square, the DLC launches next month for console versions of the retro-inspired beat-em-up that launched in 2025.
