Doom: The Dark Ages expansion discounted 50% in Bethesda's 40th anniversary sale

Bethesda is running a 40th anniversary sale on Steam until August 13, coinciding with this year's QuakeCon. The sale covers the publisher's entire catalog, including subsidiaries id and Arkane.

Within the promotion, the Doom: The Dark Ages expansion Revelations is discounted 50%, dropping from $20 to $10. According to PC Gamer, the base game Doom: The Dark Ages also receives a discount, reaching 67% off.

Revelations launched on July 7 and has been available for a month. PC Gamer scored the expansion at 90%, calling it "a beast of a shooter" in its review.

The sale marks Bethesda's 40th anniversary celebration and offers discounts across the company's entire Steam portfolio through August 13.
