Nintendo has officially announced midnight launch events for The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time on Switch 2 at its New York and San Francisco stores on November 5, 2026. According to Siliconera, the New York store event runs from 12am to 2am ET, while the San Francisco location holds its launch event from 9pm to 11pm PT on the same date.
Registration to attend begins on October 26, 2026, at 3pm PT / 6pm ET. Attendees must register through Nintendo's official event portal for the corresponding store location before the registration window closes.
The midnight launches precede the game's full release by one week and align with The Legend of Zelda's 40th anniversary celebrations. Accessory maker HORI has also announced a new line of Zelda-themed products for the Switch 2 to mark the occasion.
