Lies of P could be getting a sequel called Wonders of O, according to a trademark filed by publisher Neowiz at the European Union Intellectual Property Office. Push Square and Eurogamer first reported the filing, which appeared online last week.
The name mirrors the structure of Lies of P, the 2023 soulslike that reimagined Pinocchio as a dark fantasy. The original game's ending scene featured a woman in ruby slippers, a direct reference to The Wonderful Wizard of Oz by L. Frank Baum, suggesting the sequel will put a macabre spin on that Victorian-era fairy tale.
GamesRadar notes the trademark covers video game and computer software in various formats, matching the scope of the original Lies of P filing from 2022. A sequel was already confirmed in development years ago, but Neowiz has not officially announced the game's title or details.
Trademark filings are not official confirmations, and the studio has made no public statement about the project.
