Eremite Games has announced it is working on a survival game set in the universe of Against the Storm, its 2023 roguelike city builder. The project was revealed through a dev diary posted on Steam and accompanied by a short in-engine video clip.
The footage shows two hooded figures walking through rainy woodlands at night toward a small wooden cabin, suggesting potential co-op multiplayer support. The visual details and setting architecture maintain visual consistency with the original game's aesthetic.
Eremite cautioned against high expectations, noting the project is "still in its earliest phase" and filled with placeholders, with "nearly everything subject and likely to change." The studio also hinted that Against the Storm 2 remains under consideration for the future, though it will come after this survival game is completed.
