GTA Online gets its first major heist in 6 years on July 14

Rockstar Games has confirmed the release of the Kortz Center Heist for GTA Online on July 14, marking the game's first major heist update since 2020's Cayo Perico. According to the official announcement, the mission tasks players as art thieves, working alongside characters like Mr. Faber and Raf De Angelis to steal valuable artwork from an art gallery.

The update introduces fresh mechanics and progression opportunities. Players will be able to purchase an Art Studio as an extension to their mansions, where a skilled counterfeiter will create forgeries to replace the stolen pieces, establishing a unique gameplay loop. The heist will be playable in both single-player and cooperative modes, featuring what Rockstar describes as "a unique new level of replayability."

The launch comes as the community awaits news on GTA 6, arriving November 19. Industry observers suggest the Kortz Center Heist may be the final major update to GTA Online before the new title's release.
