Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls has revealed new details about its campaign mode. According to Eurogamer and Push Square, the single-player stories, called Episode Mode, were written by Kieron Gillen, a renowned comic book author and former games journalist.
The mode consists of five separate narratives, each focusing on one of the game's main teams. As reported by Push Square, each story will be illustrated by a different artist and presented in comic book format with DualSense features integrated throughout.
During the campaigns, players will face off against bosses featuring obscure Marvel characters, including The Promoter and The Champion. This narrative approach reinforces the game's concept as a fusion between fighting gameplay and interactive comic book storytelling.
