It's official: Gravhounds was announced this week during gamescom. The title, the first release from seven-person independent studio Octopus Panic, arrives in Game Preview on Xbox Series X|S and PC on November 2, 2026, available on Xbox Game Pass from day one, according to Xbox Wire.
The game is a co-op experience centered on chaos with bio-engineered dogs set in space. Octopus Panic's approach is to experiment and leave room for players to surprise the team, following its members' work on larger productions.
The studio brings experience from franchises like Halo, Battlefield, and Star Wars, as well as titles including Full Spectrum Warrior, Def Jam: Fight for NY, and The Saboteur. The studio was founded with the goal of "getting small again," as noted in the announcement.
