Polyphony Digital announced via the PlayStation Blog that Gran Turismo 7 update 1.70 is now live. The update introduces five new modern-era Hypercars, featuring the Ferrari 499P, championship-winning Porsche 963, BMW M Hybrid V8, and Peugeot 9X8, alongside a Porsche 911 Turbo S safety car. The centerpiece is the legendary Le Mans circuit, which debuts alongside five new World Circuits events built around endurance racing and timed with the real-world motorsport calendar. The update rolled out at 11 p.m. PDT the previous day / 7 a.m. BST on June 11 / 3 p.m. JST. Push Square notes that Polyphony Digital has sustained consistent post-launch support for Gran Turismo 7 over several years, with regular updates that expand the racing sim's content library. The update is free for all Gran Turismo 7 owners on PS5 and PS4.
