Nintendo has announced two new Switch 2 bundles for the US market, launching in September and October 2026. According to GameSpot, the Switch 2 + Mario Kart World bundle will arrive in late September at $549.99, while the package with Nintendo Switch Sports Resort launches on October 22 at $529.99.
The new Mario Kart World bundle marks the game's return to this type of offer. GameSpot noted that a similar package launched with the Switch 2 in June 2025 for $499.99 but was later discontinued. The new version differs in that it includes 90 days of Nintendo Switch Online, as Siliconera reported, whereas the original 2025 bundle did not include the service.
The price increase stems from a $50 raise on the base Switch 2, which will jump from $449.99 to $499.99 starting September 1, according to Siliconera. With the higher console price reflected in the bundle, it costs $50 more than the 2025 offering.
Mario Kart World has been available since the Switch 2's launch. According to Nintendo Music, the game now features 348 tracks in the Nintendo Music app's library, following a recent update that added the final Free Roam songs.
